Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management

Introduction

Retail is one of the fastest growing sectors around the world. It is also thought to be one of the most exciting fields for a management career as it offers tremendous scope for regular and direct interaction with consumers.

The retail sector in India has witnessed a boom in the recent past, opening up several interesting opportunities for careers in different segments and at different levels. The growing demand for consumer products around the world is expected to give a further boost to the growth of the retail sector.

The PG Diploma Program in Retail Management is meant to prepare students/executives to take advantage of the growing opportunities to make successful careers in retail and related fields. The post graduate diploma in Retail Management major focuses the student on the retail management environment. The program emphasizes skill development in strategic management, marketing, supply management, product and brand management, retail operations, merchandising, and personnel management that are unique to the retail industry.

Note :

Online examination will be conducted for above subjects.
Student will have to submit two assignments for each subject.
Online examinations carry 70% and assignments carry 30% weightage.

Exam Fee per Attempt :

For all the subjects First attempt exam fees @ Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 has to be paid at the time of examination.

For Subsequent attempts the exam fees will be Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 Payable at the time of examination.

Total Fees to be paid in full at the time of admission in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "MIT School of Distance Education" Payable at Pune.

Procedure:

Submit applications online by mentioning RBA in reference column with RBA code as 20080120 and write a mail at pkmalik@mitsde.com.

Instructions for Filling up the form:
1) General information to be provided with details like name, address and other details.
2) The address which you mention should be the address on which you need the correspondense from our side
like Study kit etc.
3) Pin Code for address and email id is necessary.
4) In Reference column please select RBA and put 20080120 as RBA code.
5) After submitting the form please cut and paste that in word format and send on pkmalik@mitsde.com for
records.

Duration : One year.

Note : Participant is expected to put in minimum ten hours of study per week.

Validity of registration : Two years.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline / Diploma in Engineering with two years experience.
